A genuine concern and desire to address the needs of people considered “hard to serve” or “chronically unemployed” is what propelled the founders to launch New Hope Enterprises at one of the most difficult economic times in our nation’s history. We believe that New Hope’s programs will truly make a difference for families right here in Metropolitan Atlanta.

New Hope Enterprises was founded to address an existing gap within the non-profit social services framework in Atlanta. Currently, many non-profit organizations provide excellent services that address specific issues of individuals and families living in poverty. These organizations are competent in dealing with specific core issues such as housing, substance abuse, mental
health, sexual abuse, domestic violence and/or legal issues resulting from an arrest – all of which are barriers to employment.
However, once these specific issues are dealt with, existing community non-profits begin to struggle to help these individuals and their families continue moving forward because what individuals really need is an ability to earn a livable wage. People want jobs and meaningful lives.
In collaboration with other service providers, New Hope Enterprises will address the employment needs of persons we will serve. By working collaboratively to address the underlying social conditions of the poor and displaced, we will strengthen the outcomes of existing community organizations and move people out of poverty into viable employment, while simultaneously achieving greater social and economic justice.
