The culinary-training program is a 12-week, full-time curriculum that prepares students for careers in the culinary profession. Program participants develop the academic, occupational, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of culinary theory and practical application, both of which are necessary for successful employment in the field. This training program will be offered as one of New Hope Enterprises’ internal programs, with executive chefs guiding program content and services. Program participants are placed as interns in food-service establishments for four weeks to gain practical experience and to offer potential employers an opportunity to evaluate their work and work habits before extending a full-time job offer.
